New study tests best way to treat dangerous lung clots

Summary
This study compares two treatments for people with a serious type of blood clot in the lungs (pulmonary embolism). Half of the 544 participants will receive standard blood thinners, while the other half will get blood thinners plus a special device that uses ultrasound to help dissolve the clot. The goal is to see which approach better reduces the risk of death and other serious complications over 12 months.
