NCT ID NCT07423520
First seen Feb 26, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study looks at how different levels of pressure from a breathing machine affect the heart in people with moderate-to-severe acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). Researchers will test three pressure settings in 20 patients to see how lung collapse and overstretching impact blood flow. The goal is to find the best way to set the ventilator to protect both the lungs and the heart.
