NCT ID NCT03700606

First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looked at how extremely low birth weight babies (born before 29 weeks) responded to two types of breathing support: high-flow nasal cannula and nasal CPAP. Researchers measured lung function using a special imaging technique. The goal was to understand the differences, not to cure or treat a disease. 80 babies participated.
