Summary
This study tested a pill called hetrombopag in 60 people with advanced breast cancer who had low platelets from chemotherapy. The goal was to see if the drug could safely raise platelet levels and reduce the need for platelet transfusions or chemo delays. Results will help guide future use of hetrombopag for this side effect.
