Summary
This study tested a special collagen mesh (Surgicoll-Mesh®) for hernia repair in 30 adults who were at high risk for infection or had contaminated surgical areas. The goal was to see if this biologic material is safe and helps wounds heal without major complications over 8 weeks. The approach offers an alternative to permanent synthetic mesh in tricky cases.
