Ancient herbal formula tested for modern Crohn's disease

NCT ID NCT03992469

Summary

This early-stage study is testing the safety and tolerability of an oral herbal formula called E-B-FAHF-2 in adults with mild-to-moderate Crohn's disease. The goal is to see if this concentrated plant-based medicine can safely help maintain remission, filling a gap where few approved treatments exist. Researchers will also look for early signs that the formula reduces gut inflammation.
