Double attack on cancer: trial tests powerful drug duo for tough tumors
NCT ID NCT06136897
Summary
This study is testing whether a combination of two targeted drugs, trastuzumab and pertuzumab, can help control advanced cancers that have a specific genetic change called HER2 amplification. The trial is for patients whose cancers are not breast, stomach, or colorectal cancer, as those types already have approved treatments. The goal is to see if this drug pair can shrink tumors or stop them from growing in people who have few other treatment options.
