New Pill-and-Shot combo aims to wipe out breast cancer before surgery

Summary
This study tests a new treatment for HER2-positive breast cancer that uses an oral chemotherapy pill (paclitaxel) plus a fixed-dose injection of two targeted drugs (pertuzumab and trastuzumab) before surgery. The goal is to see if this combination can completely eliminate cancer cells in the breast and lymph nodes. About 112 adults aged 18-75 with early-stage HER2+ breast cancer will participate.
