Doctors test if less treatment is better for some breast cancer patients

NCT ID NCT03716180

Summary

This study is testing a new approach to personalizing breast cancer treatment. It aims to see if doctors and patients are willing to adjust the amount of chemotherapy given after surgery, based on how well the cancer responded to treatment before surgery. The study involves 100 adults with a specific type of breast cancer (HER2-positive) and will also collect blood and tissue samples to understand how the immune system fights the cancer.
