New hope for young kids with hepatitis b: testing a potential cure strategy
NCT ID NCT07345611
Summary
This study aims to find the best way to achieve a 'functional cure' for hepatitis B in young children aged 3-6 years. It will compare two treatment approaches: one using a single antiviral drug, and another that adds an immune-boosting drug later. The goal is to see which method better clears the virus and is safer for young children over a two-year period.
