Race for a cure: groundbreaking trial targets hepatitis b in preschoolers
NCT ID NCT07345624
Summary
This study is testing two different drug treatments to try to cure chronic hepatitis B in very young children (ages 3-6). It will compare using one antiviral pill alone versus using that pill followed by adding an injection. The goal is to see which approach is better at clearing the virus from the body and keeping it gone after treatment stops.
