Summary
This study tested whether the drug henagliflozin, taken for 6 months after a heart attack, can reduce the size of heart muscle damage and improve heart function. 248 adults who had a specific type of heart attack (STEMI) and underwent a procedure to open blocked arteries participated. The goal was to see if this drug could lead to better recovery and fewer future heart problems.
