First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study tested whether keeping hemoglobin at different levels improves quality of life and slows kidney damage in people who have had a kidney transplant and now have chronic graft dysfunction. About 128 adults who received a transplant 1 to 20 years ago and have reduced kidney function took part. Researchers measured quality of life after 6 months and tracked kidney function over 2 years.
