Summary
This study aims to help more Veterans with serious mental illness (like schizophrenia or bipolar disorder) quit smoking. It tests a support program for VA mental health providers to make it easier for them to prescribe safe, effective quit-smoking medications. The goal is to close a major health gap, as these Veterans smoke at triple the rate of others and die much earlier from smoking-related causes.
