First seen Jan 25, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tests a program called HEATED-SAIA to improve HIV testing and care in emergency departments across three counties in Kenya. It focuses on reaching men, adolescents, and key populations who often miss testing. The trial will compare hospitals using the program to those using standard care to see if more people get tested and linked to HIV care. No new drugs or treatments are being tested—only better ways to deliver existing services.
