Heated foods may let kids with EoE ditch strict diets

NCT ID NCT06381219

First seen May 08, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looks at whether children with eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) can eat heated forms of hen's egg or cow's milk without their disease coming back. About 36 kids who are currently avoiding these foods will try gradually introducing more heated versions, like baked egg or cooked milk, to see if they stay in remission. The goal is to find a way to safely add these foods back into their diet.
