Summary
This study looks at whether applying heat and giving abdominal massage soon after hip fracture surgery can improve bowel function and mental well-being. About 75 adults who had hip surgery and haven't had a bowel movement yet will receive these treatments twice a day for three days. Researchers will check bowel sounds, gas, and stool, and ask patients about their symptoms and mood.
