Can your phone be your heart coach? new app trial aims to keep patients moving
NCT ID NCT06915220
Summary
This study is testing a smartphone app called HeartSteps to see if it helps people with heart disease stay physically active after finishing a cardiac rehab program. For 3 months, 60 participants will use the app, which sends encouraging messages and helps with activity planning, while wearing a Fitbit to track their movement. The goal is to learn what features work best to support long-term healthy habits for heart health.
