Doctors test new scan to avoid invasive heart catheter
NCT ID NCT07112391
Summary
This study aims to find better, non-invasive ways to measure how well the right side of the heart is pumping in people with serious heart valve disease. Researchers will compare measurements from standard heart scans to measurements taken during a special catheter procedure, which is considered the most accurate method. The goal is to see if the scans can reliably replace the need for the more invasive catheter test in the future.
