New tech could unlock more hearts for transplant

NCT ID NCT06895070

Summary

This study is testing a new system to preserve and transport donor hearts that are currently considered higher risk or 'extended criteria.' The goal is to see if this method is safe and effective, potentially making more hearts available for transplant. It will involve up to 60 adult patients who are already on the heart transplant waiting list.
