New digital map could speed up critical heart tests
NCT ID NCT05682118
Summary
This study is testing a new software tool that creates a 'roadmap' of the heart's arteries on the X-ray screen. The goal is to see if this map helps doctors perform two specific pressure tests (FFR and iFR) more quickly and easily during a standard angiogram. Researchers will measure if the software reduces procedure time, the amount of contrast dye used, and radiation exposure for patients with suspected coronary artery disease.
