Researchers test simpler method to gauge heart blockages
NCT ID NCT07195968
Summary
This study aims to compare two simpler methods for measuring blood flow in narrowed heart arteries against the current gold standard test. Researchers want to see if using a simple saline solution works as well as a medication (nitroglycerin) to predict when a blockage is severe enough to need treatment. About 50 people with moderate heart artery narrowing will have all three tests performed during a single procedure.
