Heart Surgery's hidden toll: tracking mental health after procedures

NCT ID NCT07326384

Summary

This study aims to understand how heart procedures affect mental health in people with congenital heart disease. Researchers will follow 60 patients, assessing their psychological well-being before their procedure, then one month and three months afterward. The goal is to learn how common mental health issues are in this population and whether procedures change these patterns, which could help improve long-term care.
