Doctors probe how different balloons affect heart blood flow
NCT ID NCT05716997
Summary
This study aimed to understand how two different types of balloons used to open clogged heart arteries affect blood flow measurements after the procedure. Researchers observed 43 patients with stable coronary artery disease who underwent this specific type of balloon treatment. The goal was to gather knowledge by comparing blood flow results and linking them to images taken during the procedure, without testing a new treatment.
