Faster heart scan tested as alternative to lengthy MRI

NCT ID NCT06029400

Summary

This study aims to see if a faster CT scan can work as well as a standard MRI for detecting heart muscle damage and predicting future heart problems. Researchers will enroll 2,200 adults who need a heart scan for various reasons, like chest pain or heart failure. The goal is to determine if the CT scan, which takes just minutes, can provide the same crucial information about heart health as the longer MRI.
