Can seeing your heart scan make you healthier?

NCT ID NCT04156061

Summary

This study aims to understand how receiving information about heart disease risk influences people's lifestyle habits. It follows 400 participants already enrolled in a larger heart attack prevention trial. Researchers will track changes in diet, smoking, and activity over 6 months after people receive either a standard risk score or results from a specialized heart scan.
