Scientists track hidden heart risk factor in 300 people
NCT ID NCT07324902
Summary
This study aims to better understand how high levels of a specific blood fat called Lipoprotein(a), or Lp(a), affect the stiffness of arteries and the function of the heart over time. Researchers will observe 300 adults for one year, measuring artery health, heart function, and tracking any major heart-related events. The goal is to gather knowledge that could help identify people at higher risk for future heart problems.
