Blood test may predict heart trouble in young cancer survivors

Summary
This study aims to understand why some young Hodgkin lymphoma survivors develop heart problems years after their cancer treatment. Researchers will check blood samples for specific markers and perform heart scans on 190 survivors who received certain chemotherapy drugs. The goal is to identify which survivors might be at higher risk for future heart issues so doctors can monitor them more closely.
