Summary
This study looks at whether a brief conversation in the emergency department can help patients with chest pain understand their future heart attack risk. Researchers will share troponin blood test results and heart health advice with 118 adults who have no prior heart disease but have risk factors like smoking or high blood pressure. The goal is to see if this information helps patients improve their diet, exercise, and other health habits over 90 days.
