Scientists probe hidden heart risk in spinal cord injury patients
NCT ID NCT07227727
Summary
This study aims to understand why people with spinal cord injuries have a higher risk of heart attacks and strokes. Researchers will measure how well blood vessels relax and increase blood flow in 40 adults, comparing those with and without spinal cord injuries. They will also test tiny particles in the blood to see if they play a role in damaging blood vessel health.
