Double treatment aims to stop early heart rhythm problems after procedure

NCT ID NCT07320768

Summary

This study tests whether adding a kidney nerve treatment to a standard heart procedure helps prevent early irregular heartbeats in people with persistent atrial fibrillation. Researchers will compare the combined treatment against the standard procedure alone in 86 adults who are not taking rhythm-control medications. The main goal is to see if the combination reduces early recurrences and is safe.
