Summary

This study aimed to find the best way to protect the right side of the heart after patients with heart failure get a mechanical pump (LVAD) implanted on the left side. It compared two different post-surgery care plans in 20 patients to see which one better prevented weakness in the right heart. The goal was to improve recovery and reduce complications after this major surgery.
