Summary
This study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled. It planned to examine a specific protein (SGLT2) in heart tissue samples from patients undergoing surgery for a narrowed heart valve. The goal was to compare protein levels in patients with and without heart failure to better understand how certain diabetes medications might help the heart.
