Summary

This study is testing if a blood pressure medication called telmisartan can protect the heart from damage caused by a powerful chemotherapy drug (doxorubicin) used to treat breast cancer. It will involve 36 women with breast cancer who are about to start this specific chemotherapy. Researchers will check if the drug helps maintain heart strength and reduces signs of heart stress during treatment.
