One-Time heart procedure aims to fix irregular heartbeat AND prevent strokes

NCT ID NCT07349121

Summary

This study is gathering real-world data on patients who receive two heart procedures during a single hospital visit. The first procedure uses pulsed energy to correct an irregular heartbeat (atrial fibrillation), while the second procedure implants a small device to close off a part of the heart to help prevent strokes. The research aims to see how safe and effective it is to do both procedures together in 500 patients across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
