Can your fitness tracker really track heart health? new study investigates
NCT ID NCT05901038
Summary
This study aims to improve how fitness trackers measure heart activity in people with heart conditions and athletes. Researchers will collect data from 138 participants wearing Fitbit and Polar heart monitors for about 13 weeks to develop better methods for filtering out inaccurate readings and creating a daily activity score. The goal is to make heart rate monitoring more reliable for tracking physical activity in cardiac patients.
