Scans seek clues to long COVID's heart and lung toll
NCT ID NCT05164744
Summary
This study aims to understand why many COVID-19 survivors experience lasting symptoms like fatigue and shortness of breath. Researchers will use detailed heart and lung scans (MRI) on over 500 survivors to look for hidden damage. The goal is to see if these scans can help predict who is at risk for ongoing health problems and guide future treatments.
