Mayo clinic launches major study to refine heart failure diagnosis

Summary
This study aims to better understand heart and lung vessel diseases by comparing different measurement techniques. Researchers will enroll 3,000 patients who are already scheduled for a standard invasive heart pressure test. They will compare results from that test with non-invasive heart ultrasound scans, lung ultrasounds, and blood tests to see how well the simpler methods match the invasive gold standard.
