Summary
This study looks back at 17 years of medical records to understand how a serious heart infection called infective endocarditis has changed in Taiwan. Researchers analyzed data from over 2,200 patients to identify trends in who gets the infection and how it has evolved. The goal is to use this information to help doctors improve treatment and outcomes for future patients.
