New heart scan could replace invasive testing
NCT ID NCT02773043
Summary
This study tested whether a new non-invasive heart scan could accurately measure blood flow to the heart muscle, compared to a standard but invasive method. It involved 36 patients with coronary artery disease who were already scheduled for a heart catheterization. The goal was to see if the new scan could provide the same important information without the need for an invasive procedure.
