Heart imaging study seeks to improve stent results for thousands

NCT ID NCT07182799

Summary

This large observational study aims to understand if using a special high-resolution imaging camera (called OCT) during heart stent procedures helps doctors make better decisions and leads to better long-term outcomes. It will follow 3,200 patients who had this imaging during their heart procedure to see if it predicts or prevents future heart problems like heart attacks or the need for repeat procedures. The goal is to gather knowledge on how this tool can best be used in practice.
