Could less insulin mean a healthier heart for type 1 diabetics?

NCT ID NCT06609356

Summary

This study is testing if using an add-on pill to lower the amount of insulin needed can improve heart and blood vessel health in people with type 1 diabetes. Researchers will compare people with type 1 diabetes to people with a milder genetic form of diabetes and healthy volunteers. The goal is to see if reducing high insulin levels leads to better blood sugar processing and healthier blood vessels.
