Community health workers take aim at heart disease risk in vulnerable population

NCT ID NCT07298213

Summary

This study is testing whether a program led by community health workers is practical and acceptable for helping Mexican-origin adults with fatty liver disease (MASLD) improve their heart health. The program aims to increase awareness of cardiovascular risks and promote healthy lifestyle changes like better diet and exercise. Researchers will work with 45 participants and their close family members or partners to see if this community-based approach can help manage disease risks.
