New push to protect hearts of those with mental illness

Summary
This study is testing different ways to help community mental health centers successfully offer a proven heart health program to their clients with serious mental illness. Researchers are working with centers in Michigan and Maryland to see which support methods work best for staff to deliver the 18-month program. The goal is to reduce heart disease risk for this vulnerable group by improving how the program is implemented.
