Summary
This study aims to understand how existing and new heart problems affect the recovery and survival of very old patients in intensive care. Researchers will observe 4,000 patients aged 80 and older from hospitals worldwide, tracking their health for six months. The goal is to gather better information to help doctors predict outcomes and improve care for this vulnerable group.
