First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study tests a new type of PET/CT scan (68Ga-FAPI) to see if it can find active scarring in the hearts of 30 people with heart failure. The goal is to compare this scan with standard MRI to see if it can detect early or ongoing fibrosis. This is an observational study, not a treatment, and aims to improve how we monitor heart scarring.
