Stent procedure put to the test for failing hearts
NCT ID NCT07349979
Summary
This study aims to see if a common artery-opening procedure (using a stent) combined with standard heart failure medications works better than the medications alone for people with a weak heart pump caused by clogged heart arteries. It will enroll about 650 adults who have heart failure symptoms and specific artery blockages. The main goal is to see which approach better prevents major heart problems like heart attacks, hospitalizations, or death over one year.
