Summary

This study is testing whether using a specific blood marker (called sST2) to guide treatment decisions helps people with acute heart failure. It aims to see if this approach reduces hospital readmissions, controls costs, and improves patients' quality of life over two years. About 710 hospitalized patients will be randomly assigned to have their treatment guided by this blood test or to receive standard care.
