First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study looks at how a breathing device called adaptive servo-ventilation (ASV) affects heart energy use and nerve function in people with heart failure and sleep apnea. Researchers will measure heart metabolism and efficiency using PET scans and heart rate monitoring. The goal is to understand if long-term ASV therapy can improve how the heart works in these patients.
