New heart device aims to ease pressure for heart failure patients

Summary
This early study is testing a new device called the Edwards APTURE Transcatheter Shunt System. It is designed to be implanted in the heart to help relieve pressure for people with symptomatic heart failure. The main goal is to see if the device is safe and works as intended in the first 71 patients.
